My art demonstrates a relationship between myself, the materials and the processes I utilise. As a hairdresser, I’ve
worked with hair almost every day for the past 9 years and I use it as the basis of my work.
For me the process of creating is more important than planning the finished product. By responding directly to the
unpredictable material I use, the serendipitous nature of the results tell me what to do.
